Christmas 2009

Doug and I both feel like Christmas never came and now its gone! Both of us where very sick Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. We didn't get to do anything! None of the family dinners!
It sucked! Christmas is my favorite time of year and we missed it all! Except opening presents on Christmas morning, but even than it wasn't very much fun! We had fevers, coughs, and everything imaginable.

Well both Doug and I must of had the same idea we both got each other stuff for the 5th wheel! We got gift cards to Home deopt and cash from family!

Anyways here our pictures of some my Christmas Decorations this year!

Warm Arizona Weather....oh how I miss you!

Doug and I went to Arizona for a 5 day trip a over December 12, 2009. It was great! When we where there is was between 65-70 degrees! We loved the weather, but weren't happy to come back to a foot of snow, but where glad we missed the negative weather here in the valley. I wish we could stay there all winter! I only need snow for Christmas, than I would be happy to have the great fall weather all winter.

While we where at Patagonia State Park, we fished, walked around the lake, and went on a little boat tour. We mainly hung out and was just plain lazy. It was first long trip we have been able to take our 5th wheel on. I must say I didn't miss sleeping on an air mattress that is flat bye the time you wake up, and the wet wall of the tent when you wake up. I got to sleep on a mattress, with all of the luxuries of home, but on wheels! It was great, can't wait to do more trips with it!
Teresa (Doug sister who live in Tempe, AZ) and her boyfriend came up and visited us up at the lake for a couple of days! It was fun hanging out with her, I wish we all lived closer together!

Here our some picture of our trip!

Thanksgivng

I always remember my camera every holiday, its the same story time and time again. I put it in my purse, leave my purse in the car and forget about it until the evening it almost over, so yet again I have no pictures!

Doug and I had a great Thanksgiving, we lounged around the house making appetizers, that was our assignment this year, than Finlay got the motivation up to get ready for the day. We went over the Campbell this year for Thanksgiving, its a tradition in our family to rotate holiday between my family and their. They have been close family friends since before I was even born.

It was fun seeing everyone, the food was great and so was the company! Of course I ate way to much and both Doug and I didn't move from the couch since the moment we got home!

It was a great day~! I'm so thankful for all I have, a great husband, home, and family! I also have to remind my self how much I have, I think sometime we get caught up in what we don't have and forgot all we do have that others don't. I'm very luck to have everything and everyone I do in my life! I must admit I'm very content in my life. I have a great husband who loves me and works very hard for our family, which allows me not to work! I get to go to school and breed my dogs! I'm so thankful for it all! I couldn't ask for a better man, husband, and partner! Thank you hunny for all you do. I know I don't tell you enough that you our truly one of a kind! I might not always show you our treat you that way, but I love you and feel blessed!

Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving!

Oh christmas tree, oh christmas tree!

I took my nephew's out for a holiday outing, since I had them for the day. We where luck enough that Dougs work was slow, so he got join us!

We went up to Preston and bought three permits to cut down trees! One for Chuck, Max, and us!

Well we made our way up to Franklin Basin and toured around stoping a few places to look and play in the snow! We went up quiet aways until we hit about 1 1/2 ft than turned around. We had lunch when we turned around!

On the way up Chuck found his tree it was so tiny and only had branches on one side, so I said kay on your way down if you still want that one okay. I figured he would change his mind by than or forget. Nope I was wrong right as we where pulling up to go past his tree his there it is. The tiny little thing. Its hard to tell in the pictures because there our tree behind it. We said it would be the perfect wall tree only having branches on one side! But he loved it!

Than Max found his huge tree, we lucked out on his, it turned into two tree a little way up so that was a bonus. 2 in 1! Not to mention it was like 12ft tall, but I did tell them they could choose any tree they wanted!

Than Doug found one good for us for branches! I'm pretty picky about the tree I decorate so I bought one at Tonys Grove, that just perfect! I'm glad I have a tree to cut up for branches though!

All in all it was fun day, of course we ended the day buy stoping at the toy store. Aunt Dana has to spoil her nephews! I wish my neices lived closer to join in on the fun! I'm excited to see them for Christmas!

Here our some picture of our outing~!
